Waterproofing
Active Services have 26 years experience in waterproofing for basement conversions and underground walls but also in the more complex situations of lift pits and underground walls below the water table.
All new and existing basements, houses with all or part earth retaining walls can easily be brought to dry, insulated living areas.
Qualifications
A waterproofing design specialist is called for under BS 8102 and by all the Guarantee Companies. NHBC, Premier and LABC all require the qualification for the new build guarantee.
Certificated Surveyor Structural Waterproofing (CSSW) is also called for.
Pete Silcock of Active Services holds the following qualifications:
- CSRT - Certificated Surveyor Remedial Treatments.
- CSSW - Certificated Surveyor Structural Waterproofing
- Member of Waterproofing Design Register (WDS)
We are therefore able to provide waterproofing design with Architects, Engineers, Geotechnical specialists.
Our directly employed staff are trained in all types of installation, either the specialist install only or bringing your project to completion.
