Active Services can correct most of the defects which are found in your house. As you will appreciate some of these works can cause dirt and disruption. We undertake to keep disturbance to a minimum and clear up properly once we complete the work.
Survey & Report
Once you have called us in, we will undertake a subsidised cost inspection of your property. If defects are found and Active Services are contracted for the work, your fee will be returned.
Our reports will be based on such things as damp meter readings, wood boring beetle infestation, Wet Rot, Dry Rot, other areas of water ingress and concrete defects.
On completion of the inspection we will telephone you with our initial findings and discuss any matters with you. Shortly afterwards you will receive a full written report.
The fee paid ensures that you have a qualified surveyor reporting where there are problems, but also, more importantly where there are not.
In-depth Investigations
After consultation with yourselves, it may be evident that your property, requires an in-depth investigation of a more technical nature. This may include laboratory analysis of concrete and plaster samples, checking for hidden defects with endoscopes and deep probes.
If this investigation is needed, the scope and fee will be arranged individually.
A Word About Cost
Fixed price quotations can be given for all areas of our work, except for Dry Rot which will need an in depth investigation prior to to a fixed price. Whatever the job you wish us to do, you will find that we offer a highly competitive price and are always happy to discuss this aspect fully with you without obligation.
