TRADE ASSOCIATION
Active Services has achieved full membership of the most prestigious trade association within the Remedial Industry.
The P.C.A (formerly BWDPA) was formed to set standards for the best remedial methods and workmanship. To gain membership, all surveyors have to achieve the C.S.R.T qualification. This is examined by the Institute of Wood Science ensuring full understanding of building defects and the correct method to repair. Regular checks are also made to ensure our business is being carried out in the correct manner.

As members of the P.C.A, we are able to offer the GPI guarantee system for our work. This is only available to members. The guarantee is completely independent, working as a freestanding trust fund, not linked to the performance of any company. This gives you the assurance that should anything happen, your guarantee will remain in force.
Of necessity, some of our treatments include chemicals and some work involves structural alterations. Our aim is preservation, restoration and conservation.
Whatever we are doing we put the highest premium on safety. We use the safest methods and materials and all our staff are fully trained in safety procedures.
Additionally Active Services carry Public and Employer's Liability Insurance.
TECHNICAL SUPPORT
As well as offering you our own expertise, we also have impressive technical backing from our suppliers and the P.C.A.
Because we are not tied to any one chemical supplier, we have available a range of scientific advice and also the use of remedial building research laboratories when necessary.
All this gives us access to the latest techniques, materials and treatments, enabling us to do an efficient job with the minimum of disturbance to you.
